January 5, 2005 - Kudos to all who supported the Elks in their effort to raise funds for the Samuel Dixon Family Health Centers. Tables seating 10 each were purchased by Weber Construction, G.G. Industries, Newhall Land and Farming, Haun, Medline, Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital (two tables), Visco, API Inc., Valencia Acura, Kellar-Davis Realty, Salt Creek Grille and the Chiquita Canyon Landfill, with groups and individuals filling out the remaining tables. The centerpieces were created by SteveÕs Florists. Among those also sharing the revelry, were Cameron Smyth, Adele Macpherson, Connie Worden-Roberts, Jo Anne Darcy, Ruth Clark, Marlee Lauffer, Jim Lauffer, Sara Fincher-Schmidt, Steve Schmidt, Ed Bolden, Peggy Edwards, Dalton Celauis, Laura Gallardo, Charlotte Kleeman, Cheri Fleming, Bruce Fortine, Gloria Mercado and Roger Seaver.
