Valencia, Friday, April 24, 2006 - Chiquita Canyon was the Title Sponsor for the annual Oak Tree Golf Classic hosted by the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce. More than 100 golfers participated in the charity event at the Tournament Players Club of Valencia. Chiquita Canyon has been an avid supporter of community charities and has taken an active role in many community events, local organizations and programs. In the past five years, Chiquita Canyon has contributed over $1 million to the Val Verde community and continues to support local organizations. The local business leader was honored with an award for supporting the tournament by the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce.
