Valencia, Saturday, September 17, 2005 - Chiquita Canyon sponsored the Michael Hoefflin Foundation's 12th Annual "An Evening Under the Stars" Gala Dinner and Auction. The Michael Hoefflin Foundation, a non-profit organization in Santa Clarita, was created to support families of children who are fighting cancer and to provide funds to combat the disease. The foundation was established in honor of 10 year old Michael Hoefflin, who in 1995 lost his battle to brain cancer. His strong regard for life and relationships is in the same spirit in which the foundation and its annual gala is shaped.
