Chiquita Canyon serves the Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding Los Angeles communities.

When trucks arrive they are carefully weighed at the scales to make sure we do not exceed our permitted daily tonnage limit of 6,000 tons a day. Vehicles hauling waste are directed to the working face, where for public safety large hauling vehicles are separated from smaller, general hauling vehicles.
