Volunteers Clean the Santa Clara River
Valencia, Saturday, September 20, 2003 - As volunteers gathered to help clean up a portion of the Santa Clara River at the annual River Rally in Santa Clarita, Chiquita Canyon was pleased to support their efforts by providing free disposal for the event. Following its sponsorship of Pride Week earlier this year, the recent donation adds to a growing list of community clean-up events to which Chiquita Canyon has contributed over the last decade to support environmentally conscious programs.

During this year alone, Chiquita Canyon has provided more than $60,000 worth of free disposal for waste from surrounding communities. This includes donations to the Boys and Girls Club building demolition, the City of Santa Clarita's Pride Week and the Val Verde community.
